I have so many punctures on my body... lol. Well I decided a few months ago that I needed a dog in my life, specifically a protection dog. I have spent the last 6 weeks researching GS and Mal's and decided on the Mal.
I thought buying a fully trained adult from Europe might be the quick solution but couldn't see myself picking up a trained dog in a crate at Logan airport. I guess I was more scared than anything......... so I decided on a pup, and did I get one!! Her name is Mallee and she's the daughter of Eros, and the granddaughter of A'Tim.
Congratulations on your new addition! She's a cutie? I'm glad to hear you came to the Mal side..I have one GSD and 2 Mal girls..and I have to say that even tho I love my GSD boy to death..my Mal girls hold a soft spot. Hubby trained my GSD and oldest Mal (both 12 now) in personal protection, I just got to enjoy the benefits..My youngest girl (2 years)..I am the one training her (with an awesome coach!) in Schutzhund..and I have the scars..bruises and punctures to prove it, but I can honestly say..I am LOVING every minute of it!
