Groenendaels in this Forum?
« on: December 14, 2004, 07:03:02 AM »

Looks very empty here...so I will start a new thread  Grin

Where do you come from, what is the name of your Groenendael and tell something about him/her?  Smiley

I come from Finland (living in Sweden)
The dogs are...

Inova du Baton Tiroir "Nova" 3,5yrs
Nova is a very nice dog, loves everybody. We compete in tracking and obedience, and sometimes we even go to some dogshows  Shocked

Voo Doo's Gump "Zorro" 9,5yrs
Zorro is the guard dog in our family. With him I have been competing also in tracking and obedience, even in agility when he was younger. He is also FIN&S Ch from shows.

There maybe will be one more black coming soon from Czhec... we'll see  Cool

Hi,

i have a female. She's called Jispa and has 4 and a half year. We are doing Agility and Begleithund.
We were sometimes on shows, but this is passed. We prefer to be outside and active ?Cheesy

I came to the Groenedaels after my Collie. I wanted a dog with a similar caracter but better for working. And i absolutly found what i was searching for!

I'm also planning to have one or two dogs more - of course they should be black ;-)

I forgot earlier

I took Blue to five shows until now (we also prefer long walks by the sea...because Blue loves water, swimming and searching for crabs under the rocks  Shocked Grin)

He got a very promising as a puppy, CAC and rCACIB in intermedia and BOB (CAC) and rCAC in rCACIB in the open class. We are planning to visit some shows in the next year...

We are also planning to increase our familiy with another belgian...I think it`s inevitable once you have one...

Hi there,

I'm Moina and I have a groenendael male Remu (Belmex Elliot). We live in the UK, but are Finns.

Remu is a retired working champion. He is now 12 years old, time flies when you are having fun ?Wink

I used to have another dog Jesse as well. Jesse (Verynice's Amateur) was a working champion, too. Sadly he passed away in October in the age of 14.

Nice to meet other belgian shepherd people. I hope this forum will be very popular.

Best regards,
Moina

I live in Finland and I have one dog. Her name is Nallehukan Vega, but she is just called Vilma. I train whit her agility and obedience. Vilma is very nice dog. Very active, but that is characteristic to belgians, isn't it?

I would like to have an another dog, but my mum says that one dog is enough. But, I keep on gnaging..

Hi I'm Julie Fynmore,

Me and my husband, Craig, have 7 Belgian Groenendaels living with us.  They are Storm & Sharif (the boys), Hera, Lily, Misty, Ucci & Elle (the girls).  We live just outside of Sydney, Australia and have 5 acres - so lots of room for our Belgians  Roll Eyes   You can meet our Belgians by visiting our homepage www.beljekali.com

We also have 3 daughters, Jessica (19), Katie (18 ) and Lisa (15). Other animals is Salem, the Groenendael cat and 4 chooks (hens).

We love to show our Belgians, especially at specialties under overseas Judges from around the world.  We also love to take them to agility which they absolutely love!  Craig and Sharif are a great team, along with Jessica & Misty and Katie & Hera.  I team up with Storm and am teaching puppy Ucci who is very quick to learn!

Like everyone here we adore our Belgians and could not live without them...  We have around 2 litters a year, mostly Groenendael, but sometimes Tervueren.

Anyway, here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!   Smiley

Hello, my name is Irene and I live at the west coast of Norway, in Stavanger. I have had Groenendaels since 1992. I have mostly Norwegian dogs, but have imported Groenendaels from Sweden, Holland, Ireland and have the option of a UK female at the moment. I was two days late for the Czech dog of Anna  Grin I have most of my dogs living out on breeding terms, and I am active in showing and obedience. From time to time I do a little tracking, but no competition this far. I have a small breeding but mostly my dogs are pure family dogs. Spoiled rotten :-)

Hello,
I'm from finland too. I have two groenendaels (+ one tervueren).
Ringo (Donatrix Querido Amigo) is almost 5 years old and Gia (Donatrix Tsarina) soon will be 3 years old.
Mine & Ringo's hobbies are tracking and obedience.

Gia is training tracking and obedience with my boyfriend Jukka, but they are talking more about training than actually doing it  Grin

Sanja's (the tervueren, Santhrax Chica Sanya) hobbies are same, but at the moment we are waiting babies for her.

Hi,

I have 11 years old Groenendael male, Gizmo and we are from Finland.  He is now retired, but he doesn't seem to understand what that means  Wink

We also have Finnish Spitz, and I'm planning to take another Groenendael next summer.

Hi!

You have a kennel in mind or still searching? It is never easy to choose.. or sometimes it is when you know what you want.. Grin

So it will be 3 dogs running arround.. hm, I heard they say the more you have easier it gets.

Bye, Raven
