Although the Belgian Specialty November 2005 was just last weekend, I already have news on the next Belgian Specialty May 2006.
This specialty will act as the World Championship BSD. When more information becomes available, I will post it here.

I doubt that this is an FCI title (this one can be earned in Poland this year). It will be more like an FMBB title.

Could anybody help a confused blonde? It is only now that I have discovered this topic and was surprised to see Saskia's info about the show. I am planning to go to the World Championship for belgians this year - which will be held in Hungary from the 4th until the 7th of May (6th and 7th will be the club and specialty show). So I'm not sure what will be happening on the 28th of May? I suppose there aren't world championships held all over the world during May, are they? So did Saskia put the wrong date or am I looking at the wrong information? The link where I got mine is the following: http://www.geocities.com/meoehbjk/angol.htm (and indeed mrs. Stern-Hanf will be judging).
So, who can enlighten me? And who is coming?
Thanks in advance, Ursa (Rui, I hope I'm making your day again )

I have in front of me the club magazine of the Belgian Breed Club. The only thing mentioned with regards to the World Championship in Hungary concerns IPO - Ring - Agility and Obedience (as mentioned on the opening page of the Belgian Breed Club). End of May (last weekend of May) the World Exposition will take place in Belgium (Aalst) but the names of the judges are not yet published.

thank you for the information. I cannot believe it, though. What's the point of organizing a world championship por mondio, ipo, agi and not having a world show too? To make it worse, there will be two shows, just not the world exposition? I don't get it...
Huh, I hope I can organize things anyway. Could you please give me any address where the information about the show will be? If there is something published on the net, of course. Would like to see where it will be, judges, entry fee etc.
Still, who is coming to Hungary and who to Belgium? I sure hope there will be plenty of belgians on both events.
Greetings, Ursa

Right now the only information available is in the club magazine and on the Dutch site of the Belgian Breed Club. No judges have been published yet.
As soon as the information will be available, I will publish it.
I will not be coming to Hungary but will be coming to the one in Belgium. Since I am going to Crufts and will be competing in some German shows, I have no budget left to go to Hungary.

Thank you for the information. I will not be able to go to Belgium, sadly; my budget doesn't allow it, as well as the work that will have to be done at that time regarding my faculty. Ah, Belgium will obviously have to wait another year .
Still I'd like to know when there are some news regarding that Belgian show. I'm sure you'll be so kind that you'll inform us, right?

I have been informed by members of the FMBB that the show in Hungary which co-incides with the Worldchampionship Agility, IPO, Obedience, Ring should not be considered as a Worldchampionship exposition. The show in Belgium end May is for the FMBB the only worldchampionship exposition.

I am going to both specialties to watch not to compete. I am sure that with your laekenois you will be easy to find.
