And I started thinking ok, how many pitbulls and other "dangerous breeds" that my friends and people I know have are dangerous... belive it or not.. 1 single dog from I dont know how many.. and that dog was puted down and ofcourse it was because it?s owners should never have a dog in first place. Every single pitbull I met so far was a total couch potato and all happy when I petted it..
Than I started thinking, ok, maybe I am overeacting.. but than found couple links that made me very sad and on border of tears...

Hm, god knows when malinos (or other belgian) become "dangerous breed" because some people just cant control their dogs. As far as I know in most countrys Cocker Spaniel is no. 1 bitter in country.
When will people learn that dogs are what we make of them and that they are not born evil..

Here in Belgium they also tried to do something similar and it was found unconstinutional. Luckily there are now some smart people advising the gouvernment saying that there are no dangerous breeds only dangerous dogs.
A couple of weeks ago a young boy lost his ear and had his arm broken because he was bitten by a golden retriever
What I do think will maybe help is mandatory obedience classes where people learn that a dog is more than something the barks and wags his tail. They are planning on making the sociability test madatory by law for all dogs in Belgium but that will take some time to become reality.

That would be great, I think there should be a law for sociability tests all over the world. Thouse who makes this new rules about forbidden breeds dont know much about dogs? .

hi everyone, in Portugal some very not so smart people make up a list of dangerous dogs, no one knows were they got the info but whatever!!!!.
So the owners of dogs from these breed have to have a insurence, the dogs have to be registered at the local police and only people that have no criminal record can own dogs of these breeds.
The situation was going to be worst but the the dog people manage to avoid these dogs to be forbitten.
Regarding the puddles ans chiuahuas i must say that these breeds bit more people thant the others, but they do less harm and must of the attacks are noever reported.
