Hello to all! I'm new to the boards and have a question. Two or so years ago, we adopted a dog from a local animal rescue group.? At the time, we were told she was a Black Lab mix, but I really couldn't see it.? After much searching, I think she's a Malinois (at least part of her).? What do you think?
It certainly isn't impossible looking at the pictures. She certainly has BSD features.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.
We once bred a litter from a golden retriever x Malinois in 1982.
All the pups were quite black all over, 3 were brindle. All the pups had their ears up like a BSD.
There were all bigger than their parents. They looked mostly like your dog, so I think it is a mix with a retriever with a BSD. Your dogs has the elegancy of of BSD.
I see on the head a rather broad head like you can expect from a retriever, and also the stop is rather profound, too much for the standard of a BSD. Ears are a bit wide set, because of the broad hed I think.
