We are working Cali with obstacles right now, preparing for PSA/Mondio Ring competition. We've worked many times with obstacles that are "long and low", ie a row of cardboard boxes, bales of hay, a fence, etc. Things where it was fairly obvious to her that going up and over was the easiest way to get to the decoy. Now we are increasing the level of difficulty, working with things that she could easily choose to run around instead of going up and over. However she's learning that if she tries to go around, the object can move and will still be in her way, so it's easier to just go up and over, regardless of how tall/narrow the obstacle is.
So up and over she went.
And again.
If nothing else, I love doing crazy stuff with my dogs
really impressive pictures! I was just wondering how the decoy stands the heat in the clothing, looks pretty hot in those pictures ? good work of the decoy anyways to stand the heat and still be able to work

Sweating and drinking. When the decoy takes off his 15kg jacket you can see the steam rising
