Sandra have you been there? Well I think so too. It was really good WC, great decoys, great dogs, some very good work and of course Mario and Yagus proved they are still the best.... I really could not be hapier that they won again.
Regarding the obediance part I was also impresed by Silke Balabanov with her sit and down in motion, that was just amazing. And of course my all time favorite Aika proved to be still in good shape and so eager to work and her protection part was still very strong.
Some very good biters in protection, I remember Cynthia from the States with her dog and also one from Austria that had amazing protection.

Hi there,

I got update news from a friend who was there at WC.
He told me stories about the protection part and how the decoys and judge got whistled down with lot of upset visitors about the work.
There's a runmour people want to start over all protection work again due to improper quality at WC.

What have you guy's, who were there, seen and what's your interpretation ??

There will always be stories and always people who see things differently and will not be satisfied with everything. I attended meeting of FFBB where we discussed the issues about protection work too.
I do agree there should be equal opportunity for all participants and regulations for organizing world championship. DMC has a long tradition of dog training and they make IPO a true test for dog abilities. The decoys were really tough, but also very fair to all participants. I have never seen a judge that would really be so fair to all and pay attention to every single detail like Marcus Neutz. It maybe be true that not all were prepared for hard decoys like Bjorn, but on the other hand, its world championship and not all the dogs are made to be on the top.
So in my eyes I congratulate DMC for organizing such a great World Championship. We have seen really good dogs in protection so with that in mind I can say malinois is on the right path of becoming even better working dog.
