Well as far as the pedigree goes I really do not know enough to coment, it would not be fair. But a working malinois is selected only for working and not the apperence. Sometimes I can see that they can appear heavier than other belgians but that is due to work, some need stronger animals. Working malinois is design to work as an athlet, so his body apperence is direct product design for speed, stamina, strenght... show line malinois can not compit with that. But this is not the topic of this post anyhow...

Hi!

I saw atim?s son on the picture on site of owner of atim.. I understand that usually working dogs don?t look like show dogs but this picture.. well see it and than tell me if it?s normal that mall (at least in my opinion) looks like german shepherd?

http://home.tiscali.be/workingmalinois2/pictures/offspring/belgium/defo/pasinsit.jpg

I asked couple of people (not telling them the breed of dog) what do they think which breed is on picture and all of them said German Shepherd.

Bye

The dog has mali colors.  But this does not convince me that there is no GSD mixed into this as he has some typical expressions from a GSD (I grew up with GSDs).  Since we do not know who the mother is (remeber it takes two to produce a litter and how she looks like it is difficult to say where these GSD features come from.  Looking at the other pictures of offspring of A'Tim, my guess would be that the mother might be the guilty party since some of his other offspring do not show GSD features but I noticed that they are too long and some have bad backs.  But then again no pedigree of A'Tim is posted here on this website.  If I would have a good stud dog like him I would put it on my site unless there was a problem but maybe that is just me wanting to show off.

Hi!

Well if you cant see what the breed is right away..then I think there is a BIG problem! ?Shocked

They call him a Mal, so I really dont understand Huh? He really doesn?t look like one. I mean, working dogs dont look that nice like show lines, but usually you can see what the breed is...

I mean the dog Raven was writing about...

Hello ,

The A'tim discussion is already coming over here,
nice.

First of al I want to say it's a great dog.

But indeed the pedigrees aren't right.

When you want to use him as a studdog in my opinion you can't give your customers a pedigree.

It's not right.

Why do you have a pedigree?

You want to know the ancesters, important linebreeding etc. etc.

Sure you need a pedigree for competition.

You read my mind! I loved seeing what this dog is able to do and when someone asks me about Ring I show them Atim video clips.

Sad thing if you look at it, great working dog but pedigree not alright. Imagine owners of pups and dogs that mated with atim if FCI takes away pedigree of Atim there will be a lot of dogs that will not be able to compete anymore.

Hi Marius.

You are absolute wright about Igor. Buy the way what many people don't know but what i do know is that A'tim bred in Germany. And his sons and daughters are now about 8 to 9 months old and this dog give problems too his descendant. Tooth failure, but big tooth failure. I have lots off contact too Germany because my girlfriend she comes from Germany. And she spoken to some one hoo used A'tim and he told her that the puppies in this litter has many teeth failing and an other one told her the same? A'tim maybe a good dog but with these failures I don't think he is such a good stud dog.

This is quiet a short list and as far as I can see the are all bred in a few European countries.  What about other countries or even continents?

Hello Bjorn,

Haggler is death,

He died at the end of september.

When I was at a meeting with Regis.
I've seen his other dog Notter (son of Haggler)
Wow not a big dog but wat an  big hart.
5 decoys tried to scare him of 3 times.
Thats 15 times.

He didn't even blink with his eyes.

And people say french dogs dont have a full bite.

In France dog don't get the chance to bite full.

But when you give them the chance they will have a full bite.

And there's another dog in France.

Judex.

I've seen several offspring of this dog.
With different females.
And they pleased me the one more than the other.

Fender perle de tourbiere.
I've seen this dog and was impressed with his drives.
Several of his offspring have there KNPV certificat.
One stood  at the championships this year.

I used him for my first litter with bora
4 dogs in to KNPV
2 males ph1 431.5    409.5
2 females  ph1 418    382.5
1 female in IPO 2

And there are more,

regards Joris

I like the F- litter of Perle the Tourbi?re as well. The mother of this litter is Djenna and in my oppinion she was one great dog. Smiley

I almost forgot to mention Zimba perle de tourbiere.

Lots of offspring at our club and are just great.

Good bitting and verry serious in their work.

Bjorn mentioned Mandrack off stone.

I've seen an offspring in France and he was about 4 months old.

When that wasn't a promissing dog I've never seen one.

Then Bjorn have you heard of Yak van Joefarm FR 3 MR3.
He is owned by vincent Mertens.
