Well guys. It was wonderfull yesterday. there were 27 Laekenois subscribed. In fact there were 25 been showed, and 8 just for the fun! It has been a long time since there so many Laeken dogs on an official show!!
There is a very good dicussion going on how the real laeken should be looking like. In this dicussion we have different meanings but still we feel all ourselves together in loving this rare breed!
I am proud of being a lover of the Laeken and of all other lovers of the Laeken: we work together, even in competions.
This is really great! Laekens are special dogs although some people consider them uglyer than other 3 varieties.
I sent out some invitations to get more laekenois people to forum but so far I don?t know if it worked.
Let?s hope Laekens will get to the place they deserve in dog world.
And for showing laekens part.. in Malmo show there was only one.. can?t remember the name though... so far we haven?t seen a lot of them in one place.. next show we are going there is none of them but it?s a small show... 7 belgians all together...
Bye, Raven

Do not condemn the judgment of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong. ~Dandemis
It indeed was a wonderful day with one big pack of Laekens and their owners. We all sat together and had a great time. A lot of handlers from the other 3 varieties must have noticed this I guess (we were with that many that you couldn't miss it!
I think Saskia will have some of the results of the show yesterday, I have spoken her briefly and she was taking some pictures as always, so I won't give you all the results (don't have them all because I lost my only pen...), but I cannot stop my reply without a little brag: my young female Nozem (tomorrow she will be 13 months of age) was chosen to be the best female, and after that became Best of Breed as well, with the lovely Laekenois male Aramis Var Letsager as the BOS.
I indeed got some pictures of the Laekenois. I am waiting for the full results to be published because some rings never wrote their scores on the score board.
When I drove home, I kept wondering what Nozem did in the ring of honor and now I know. Congratulations
Saskia
