Hi,

Wolf is dead for about 3 weeks now (12 yrs old).

Beautiful dog, high drive, good object guard, very fast, spectacular, grip could be better.

Gave very good offspring with one particular bloodline.  Several good sons in BR now from that line.

Take care!

Wolf's son Eriem van het Beenhouwerke is national champion cat.3. Very good dog ! I think you mean Eriem's brother Floepie van het Beenhouwerke, Frank Everaerst dog.

Wolf van Dupae's Kennelke was my favourite dog in NVBK, I'm not an expert of that line of dogs, but seen  training of two Wolf sons in Belgia and cat1 ch -99 and -98 videos. Those Wolf sons were same type as father, very fast good grips, not making nervous expression, hi drives.

while we are discussing about nvbk dogs, I have a question about white chest marking.

how much white on the chest is normal or rather acceptable?. I am sure with certain bloodline, there would be more white then others. this one dog I saw last weekend had very large patch of white covering its chest. I mean very large, almost the whole chest area is cover in white.... very nice working BR cat2 police dog.

thanks Smiley

There is a post on White patches on the chest under the item breeding and combinations.

It all depends on what you find acceptable and what you would like to use the dog for.

Hi,

Tourtel line was the bloodline I was referring to.
Combination Wolf x Tourtel gave very good results (line breeding).

Wolf was a son of Oke vh Muizenbos. Oke's mother was Judice vh Muizenbos.
Tourtel's mother Sara vh Muizenbos was Oke's half sister (also daughter of Judice).

With other bloodlines Wolf didn't give this quality.

Take care!

Hi,
What qualities (speed, grips, hardness) were produced with a female named Venta which is an Oke v.t Muizenbos daughter when combined with Acky V/h Herhershof which was also a Oke v.'t Muizenbus grandson. Trying to find out if this combination has ever been combined with good A'Tim offsprings or grandkids. What can be expected?
Thanks!

Hi,

Acky van het Herdershof is unknown to me.  Do you know the name of the owner and if the dog was titled?

Sometimes a dog has another call name and mostly this is the one we know + the name of the owner.

Take care!

I've seen this dog only a few times so I don't know him that well.

I don't know if he was used as a stud.

Take care!

Hi,

I haven't seen the Leerburg video but I suppose there won't be any Wolf offspring there.

The good Wolf offspring (combination with Tourtel or Omants line) are much younger.  The oldest ones from that combination are 6 yrs old now.
Brett: 6 yrs old
Corat, Corak and Coraly (same litter): 5 yrs old
Eriem: 4 yrs old

Take care!
