PoisKottoo Hurrikaani known as H?my is energetic dog and quite sharp. He is also very suspicious to strangers. In his opinion, there should be only his family and friends and all the other could vanish from the world. He has strong fighting spirit, which replaces his lack in nervestructure. Actually only way you notice his lacks in nervestructure is that he hates slippy floors. He walks in slippy floors, but every now and then he remembers where he is standing on and all of his four legs points in different direction for awhile.
We do tracking (Finnish tracking) and we have competed in tracking last summer. Plan is to continue next summer in a upper class. Who knows if we achieve even some championchips.
I got H?my when he was 1,5 years old. He was very nervous first and it took awhile to get him settle down. He didn't cope any pressure , which made me wonder what have happened in his first family. He hasn't been very much in different places. He hasn't ever walked in stairs, travelled with elevator or walked in a center of town. So, you can just imagine what it was like to be with H?my first year.
But now he is very nice dog, like working, lives with me in a same apartment, visits nicely in my friends homes. Walks stairs, travels every day in elevator and even walks quite nicely in a center.
Probably because of hard begin of his life and lack of nerve structure he has very sensitive stomach. I have to be very strict with his eatings. But there is nothing I couldn't handle.
Anyhow I am not going to let him be father of any litter. He is not good enough for that. I probably sterilize him quite soon.
