The dog IMO was a GSD. ?If you look at historical photos of GSD's, they look a lot more like Malinois IMO than they do today's version of the GSD. ?Sometimes not so much in color, but in general outline/build.

The dog beside Hitler is a German Shepherd and the name is Blondie not Prinz. I know this because my girlfriend is German and she traind for a little bit over 17 years with german Shepherds. She said to me every german knows that the dog beside Adolf is an German shepherd and the name was Blondie. Besides that the Old german shepherds looked like Malinois. P.s. i don't think such a picture belongs on a forum. I think nobody is interessting too this man any more.
