Decoy training
« on: May 14, 2007, 04:10:49 PM »

Hi
If someone just started with the sport and knew the rules of NVBK inside out and wanted to be a qualified decoy, how long does it take on average?
...if all went well and he had loads of experienced dogs to train with and had great support etc how long does it take to get the experience to be suitable for such a test?

Hope you understand the question!! and I understand that it depends on this and that but its a question I would like to know.

If you are a experienced decoy reading this ... when you started for the first time, how long was it before you considered yourself a experienced decoy? How many dogs are at your club that you helped train when you started?
