The "Randmerencup" is a IPO B/C match especially for Groenendaels, Tervueren and Laekenois. This "Randmerencup" is open for all IPO I, II en III certified longhairs. For the first two editions there was also a side-match for IPO-uncertified dogs.
In 2005 this match is held for the first time. It was a succes. In 2006 the match was orginised for the second time. Although the number of participants was not large, there clearly was a need for a match like this. There even were participants from abroad. Therefore it was decided to orginise this event each year. To lower the threshhold to participate in 2007 the match is open for BH-certified dogs as well, also specifically for longhair Belgians.
The aim of the "Randmerencup" is to stimulate working with longhair Belgians. We hope this will raise the demand for good working longhair Belgians, leading to more focuss in breeding plans on character and working skills.
In 2007 the "Randmerencup" will take place on Saturday 20 October 2007.This time no separate trial is organized for uncertified dogs. Instead there is an extra category VZH/BH, which is open for VZH/BH certified dogs that are not yet certified for IPO. The "Randmeren Cup" is open for all certified VZH/BH, IPO I, II and III longhair Belgium Shepherds. For IPO-certified dogs it is possible to enter one class higher than certified.
The judge for this trial is mr. A. Stappers. The helper is mr. F. van Aalsburg.
The closing date for entries is 13th of October 2007.
The entree fee is € 15,00 per combination.
