My name is Mike Burke...I live in NYC. I train with the Mid Island SchH Club in Long Island, NY. I am the club's helper. I love helper work and look foward to learn each day. My goal as a helper is to become an excellent training and Trial helper.... And to do trial work on the Regional, National and World level (some day). I also love working dogs in the suit.
We have an excellent club with excellent handlers and dogs that have competed and won on the Regional, National & World level. I consider myself lucky to be training and learning with this club.... We have a dedicated group of people who help one another out. We are a team and we look out for one another and each others dogs.
I currently train with an American Bulldog.... We recieved our BH this past November. We will see what the future holds for us. I will be looking for my first Mali in the near future as well.
Nice of you to join we always need more members that will share their experiences with us. You as a decoy will probably have a lot of things to teach and learn.
I know this probably sounds "old" but until you have a belgian shepherd (working mals are especially extreme) you donīt know what a dog is. All I can say is WELCOME to the belgian shepherd club.
Enjoy your stay!
